Starbucks: Stop Offering Food With Animal Products

Dear Starbucks,

We are the Adviser to ethical investment products. The key themes across our investment products are the avoidance of companies which are having negative impacts on the environment, and the avoidance of companies which exploit or contribute to the exploitation of animals.

We saw your recent move towards entirely removing dairy from your menu after a greenhouse gas analysis, but we have been unable to look past the fact that the menu still includes meat and fish products.

Animal products have been shown to be a leading contributor to environmental damage and involve the tremendous exploitation of the animals themselves.

We would appreciate your prompt response to outline what measures you plan to adopt to mitigate the animal exploitation and negative environmental impacts we have identified as part of your company’s operations.

We look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible.
